  • Hazel Park Schools Great Start Readiness Grant Program

Welcome to the Hazel Park Schools Great Start Readiness Grant Program (GSRP) located at Webster Early Childhood Center. The Hazel Park GSRP program is a State of Michigan-funded grant program that provides four full days of a tuition free high quality preschool program for qualifying four-year-old children. The HighScope curriculum, a research-based curriculum, is used to prepare children for future school success.

Our program consists of six classrooms with 16 children per classroom and two teachers. Our Early Childhood lead teachers have a teaching certificate and a Bachelor or Masters degree in Early Childhood. Our associate teachers have a CDA or an associate's degree in Early Childhood. We offer full-day classes, Monday through Thursday, from mid-September to late May with two meals and a daily snack. Transportation is available for Hazel Park families.

Currently our program services families from Oakland and Macomb Counties. For more information, please call (248) 658-5501.
